Nature Conservancy City Nature Challenge Guided Hike

The Rockfish Valley Foundation is excited to be a host site for this hike as part of the City Nature Challenge in the Greater Charlottesville Region by the Nature Conservancy. Please download the free iNaturalist App on your smartphone prior to the hike – the guide will show you how to utilize the app and its resources.
 
Families are welcome, but this hike is geared to adults. No dogs.
 
The hike is supported by the Central Blue Ridge Chapter of the Master Naturalists and will be led by Bruce Slater. One will learn to enjoy the app and all the natural resources along the South Fork of the Rockfish River.
 
The hike is free, but will be limited to 15 people. Registration is required. To register, please visit tinyurl.com/yc58xx6b. A confirmation email will be sent a week before the hike with additional information. If your schedule changes, please let the organizers know so that anyone on the waitlist can be notified of the opening.
